Review Notes Third generation of consumer LED bulb from Philips. It replaces their similar looking 12.5W globe and their 13W globe. At the time of the review this is the brightest bayonet style globe available on the market. Efficiency is also excellent, especially considering the frosted cover. CRI is average & flicker level is acceptable. Runs just a little hot, is slightly oversized and isn't dimmable however. If you want a really bright LED, this is the globe you want.

Graph notes: Shows the intensity of the light when viewed from different angles. Normal omni-directional globes have a fairly constant output all the way around (excepting directly above). Downlights have a narrow range at the bottom in which the light is emmited, this determines their angle.
